Professor of Japanese language, history and culture. Member of the Japanese Studies Center of the University of Guadalajara. Obtained a MA in Social Sciences and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Guadalajara.  Founding member of the Center for Japanese Studies (CEJA) at the Department of Pacific Studies in the University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Guadalajara. MA in Communication at University of Guadalajara Masters Thesis: "Positions on the conservation and use of native languages in distinction” and PHD in Sociology at University of Guadalajara Doctoral Thesis: "Japanese immigrants in Guadalajara (1970-2011)" Areas of interest: Japanese migration to Guadalajara, Intercultural communication and Japanese language education. He received his Master in Social Sciences with specialization in International Relations and Pacific Studies from the University of Guadalajara.

She obtained a Master's Degree in Social Sciences with a specialty in International Relations and Pacific from the University of Guadalajara and a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies from the University of Guadalajara.

She currently coordinates the Master's Degree in Global Politics and Transparency Studies (GP&TPS).
